Myntra Photo Guidelines vary from product to product and would change depending upon the product that is in question. Some of these guidelines overlap for various products and some are different and unique to certain products. Title Guidelines


Dos


1. You should always capitalize the first letter of each word. E.g., Levi's Men's Cargo Shorts (ABC_Blue_L).

2. Make sure that the title length should be less than 200 characters. This makes it easier for the visitor to read and enough word length to understand what the product is all about

3. You should use numerals instead of text when describing the product. For e.g., write it like "Pack of 2" instead of "Pack of Two".



Don’ts


1. Do not use all capital letters: LEVI'S MEN'S CARGO SHORTS (ABC_BLUE_L). Instead, make the first letter of each word capital only, the rest of everything should be in small letters.

2. Secondly, do not include promotional messages such as 'sale, 'price', 'offer', or 'free' in the title description.

3. Also, do not use email IDs, URLs, external links, symbols, or seller information.




Product Description Guidelines


Dos


1. Include the brand name and 'Amazon' name to enable search engine optimization.

2. Include product-specific information like pattern and material type.

3. Provide styling tips that enable customers to make a purchase decision.



Don’ts


1. Do not include promotional messages such as 'sale, 'price', 'offer' or 'free'

2. Do not include irrelevant keywords like 'designer', 'Bollywood', 'latest'

3. Do not use emails Id's, URLs, external links, symbols, or seller information

4. Do not exceed 2000 characters in length



Image Guidelines


Dos


1. The product should occupy 90% of the image area.

2. The background must be 100% white with RGB values 255,255,255.

3. Images must be with a resolution of 1000 DPI to allow the zoom function to be enabled.

4. The first image must capture the front view of the product.

5. Main image and back image should be of the same product with the same model and in the same lighting.



Don’ts


1. The model should not make dramatic hand gestures or poses.

2. No accessories like sunglasses, extra jewelry, belts, scarves, or flowers – unless they are accompanied by the product, should be included.

3. Flat Shots, Non- White Background, and Seated poses are not allowed

4. Celebrity images are NOT allowed unless you have a legal contract with the celebrity to use their images on an eCommerce marketplace.

Dos


1. Products should be free from visible issues like blur, pixelation, out of focus, etc

2. Product should be wrinkle-free and ironed properly

3. The product should fit the model properly.

4. Use soft lighting with natural shadows

5. Model should be well-groomed and waxed.

6. Neutral Makeup and Dewy look, light lip color as per the attached color swatch, subtle smile/ Straight edgy expression.

7. Simple, clean hairstyles, straight, blow-dried hair left open, slightly textured hair, soft curls, hairs tied back in a pony, hairstyles that complement the face of the model and help elevate the look, trendy hairstyles are the hairstyles that are accepted for casual day wear for women.

8. Nude Makeup, light lip color as per the attached color swatch, and edgy expression are the accepted makeup along with footwear products for women.

9. The fabric texture, stitch lines, and any surface ornamentation should be clearly visible in the detailed angle.



Don’ts


1. No Loud makeup or overdone hairdo

2. Loud eye makeup and lip color, dramatic pose, incorrect hair styling, and heavy earrings are some of the makeup practices that don’t work with the model photoshoot.

3. Messy, Curly, and heavy earrings are not accepted with formal wear.

4. Dramatic and heavy curls hairstyle is not accepted with casual day wear.

5. Dramatic eye makeup, loud lip color, and oily face is not accepted with casual evening wear.

6. High bouffant buns should be avoided, and do not add hair accessories while doing model photoshoots for casual evening wear of women.
